The US Nanny Association offers the Nanny and Childcare Provider (NCP), Newborn and Infant Care Professional (NICP) and Professional Nanny and Childcare Provider (PNCP) to recognize childcare knowledge, competency, and experience. These credentials must be renewed every three (3) years.
To renew your certification, you will need to submit a current CPR and First Aid certification, 20 clock hours or 5 credit hours of continuing education training, a background check and pay a renewal fee. If you hold a current credential or it has expired within 12 months, you do not have to retake the proficiency exam. If your credential has expired beyond 12 months, you will have to repeat the certification process.
Credential renewal fees are non-refundable.
US Nanny Association Credentials and Certifications do not replace interviews and background checks required by agencies and families for employment.
You will receive an email link immediately after paying the credential or class fees to log into your student account. Please check your junk or spam folder to find the emailed link to your account.
